here's the description that I put on Smackjeeves:

Life in California is pretty laid back for 23-year-old Nao Lee - living off the allowance his mother sends him, avoiding gangs after his head, and cruising from girlfriend to girlfriend are all normal for him. Things are pretty boring until he accidentally bumps into Jaejin Li, a crazy - but fun - shorty who is probably more trouble than he's worth.

vignettes about a kumiho (nine tailed Korean fox) and his best friend/companion: the most unserious douche bags around.
some kind of weird satire about life, love, and everything in between...
... except, not really.
inspired by Reel Big Fish songs.

if so, could you tell me what its like over there? _{I'm on the East Coast, so...}

I've never been, but I need to know about it for, uh, research purposes.
I could wade through wikipedia articles, but I think it would be better to hear about it from someone who has actually been there.

so when I said, "hey, it will probably start around June 19th", I totally ignored the fact that i would be away the entire weekend before, and that i am a lazy twat. MY BAD ;;

actually, I had started working on it weeks earlier, but halfway through the first few pages i got annoyed and started over just recently. I think this is for the best, because it just... is. it suits Jaejin more.

... except now the first chapter is probably even more misleading than it was originally intended to be >___>

I am probably much more excited about this than i should be... but i've never done a webcomic/graphic novel before so i'm kind of ridiculously stoked, gahaha. FORGIVE MY EXCITEMENT. it will probably wear off once i realize how much work this actually is.

i'm pinning the ~*~official launch date~*~ to June 19th-ish. this is my secret plan to be constantly ahead of my updates so i'll never get off schedule. this plan will undoubtedly fail because i am an awful, lazy person.


i've been working on side character designs a lot recently... i don't know if i should post them, though! i don't think there's anything spoiler-worthy, but who knows. if people want to see them, i'll post 'em, haha.
... actually, hilarious thing i noticed: a lot of the less important characters are girls. i'm... not sure whats up with that.

OH, and i graduate from high school in two weeks. woooooooo~
